If you’re reading this from the US, you might think you don’t know what the Toyota GT86 is, but trust us, you do. Over here, it’s sold in two versions, the Scion FR-S and the Subaru BRZ, but in other markets this nifty sports car is badged as a Toyota. Not satisfied with the vehicle as it was, Toyota decided to rallify (yep, we made that word up) it to make it more incredible than we could have imagined. Meet the Toyota GT86 CS-R3.

Toyota Motorsport has taken the GT86 and added a 38 bhp increase in power, meaning the rally car makes a whopping 235 bhp. Other additions include three-way adjustable  Reiger shock absorbers, Alcon calipers, a Drenth six-speed sequential transmission, 15-inch OZ wheels, an HJS racing exhaust and manifold, a racing clutch with lightweight flywheel, and a roof vent. What does all of that mean for this incredible race car? This video should clear it up for you:

The Toyota GT86 CS-R3 will cost £59,000 (around $89,560), and will begin delivery in the UK in May. Here in the US, we have our fingers crossed that these rallytastic (we made that up too) mods will become available on either the FR-S or BRZ sometime soon, so we can experience this off-road monster for ourselves.

Now, please enjoy these glorious photos while we wipe off our seats.
