Ram Launches New “Long Live” Marketing Campaign
The Ram lineup of pickup trucks is made up of vehicles that last for a very long time. In fact, they have even been named America’s longest-lasting pickup trucks. As such, the Ram brand has recently decided to market its family of trucks in a way that highlights the longevity of those vehicles.
Ram just launched its new “Long Live” marketing campaign in order to advertise the durability of its pickups.
Jeep Marketing Campaign: Jeep “Free to Be” Campaign
The marketing campaign is designed to showcase the resolve of drivers who choose Ram trucks, while simultaneously focusing on some of the features and capabilities of the Ram vehicles, such as the horsepower of the available 6.4-liter HEMI V-8 engine.
Accompanying each advertisement is a cover of Bob Dylan’s classic song, “Forever Young,” performed by recording artist Anderson East and produced by Dave Cobb.
Two of the commercials that make up the campaign premiered last weekend during the NFL playoffs. The first, “Long Live Ram”, is a general overview of the Ram lineup’s capabilities. The second, “Skate”, focuses on a community’s efforts to clear snow away from the top of a lake in order to allow for ice skating.
It would seem each subsequent “Long Live” Ram advertisement will focus on another way individuals in the community can rely on Ram vehicles to get the job done. Additionally, the “Long Live” campaign will also spread over into Ram’s social media channels.
Chrysler Marketing Campaign: Premium to the People: A Chrysler Campaign
The campaign seems to take a more “traditional” route than Ram’s most recent marketing campaign, which saw a horde of Vikings advertise the features available on Ram vehicles.
In the following weeks, audiences will likely see and hear more from Ram’s latest marketing campaign.
