Ram was established in 2009 as its own brand after Fiat took the reigns over Chrysler, but that doesn’t mean the brand’s trucks are anything new. The award-winning pickups have graced American roadways since 1981–and before that, they were sold under the D Series label since the late 1920s. Ram does not have as many options as its Chrysler, Dodge, and Jeep siblings, but only because the brand’s engineers focus on trucks only, with good reason.
