Ram Off-Road Experience Was a Real Hoedown
Over the weekend, Detroit played host to the 32nd Annual Downtown Hoedown, the city’s largest country music festival. The festival was held at Comerica Park and featured more than 40 artists, including Dierks Bentley, Love and Theft, Tyler Farr, and The Band Perry. Ram Truck got in on the fun too with the Ram Off-Road Experience.

The Ram Off-Road Experience allowed festival attendees to sit in the passenger seats of Ram 1500s and Ram 3500s as trained performance drivers took them through an obstacle course designed to show off the trucks’ capabilities. Obstacles such as rocks and logs, bumps, a 30-degree wedge, and the intimidating Ram Mountain proved fun and educational for all participants.

“We are proud to showcase the most innovative lineup of full-size pickup trucks, including the new Ram 1500 EcoDiesel, at the 2014 Downtown Hoedown,” said Mike Dragojevic, Director of the Great Lakes Business Center, Chrysler Group LLC. “Ram trucks and country music have always gone hand in hand. Bringing them together in our hometown is a recipe for a great time.”
Not only did participants get to enjoy the Ram Off-Road Experience free of charge, they also received a Ram T-shirt that acted as a pass to get into an exclusive viewing area for the Hoedown, reportedly one of the best viewing areas at the entire festival. Not a bad deal, eh?
