Ram Truck Brand and NCBA

Nothing makes you think of farming more than a rugged pickup truck, and according to an announcement made by the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association (NCBA) last week, no truck is more rugged than Ram. That’s why the Ram Truck brand and NCBA are joining forces in order to support agriculture.

At the 2014 Cattle Industry & NCBA Trade Show in Nashville, Tennessee, Ram Truck brand and NCBA announced an official partnership, which resulted in Ram being named the 2014 Official Truck of the show and of the National Cattlemen’s Beef Association. This partnership enables Ram to reinforce its relationship with the American agricultural community, showing its support for farmers across the U.S., which the brand first illustrated in last year’s two minute “Farmer” video during Super Bowl XLVII.

“This is an important partnership for us as trucks are a hard-working part of everyday life for the more than 190,000 cattlemen who make up the NCBA,” said Reid Bigland, President and CEO-Ram Truck Brand, Chrysler Group LLC, in a press release. “Ram trucks deliver the capabilities that farmers count out: industry-best 30,000-pounds towing, 859 lb-ft of class leading torque and the best fuel economy.”

Because NCBA is the largest organization representing America’s cattle industry, this collaboration between the two organizations will likely increase Ram Truck sales. This is particularly likely since members receive a discount on Ram trucks, as well as Chrysler, Jeep, Dodge, and Fiat brand vehicles, which kind of makes us want to figure out just what it takes to get a National Cattlemen’s Beef Association membership.
