Ram Truck Brand Named Official Truck of Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade
Turkey, football, and arguing with your one crazy uncle about politics are all some wonderful Thanksgiving Day traditions, but one tradition is truly iconic—the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade.
Every year, millions gather in New York City to catch a glimpse of Snoopy floating through the air. Parade floats and bands from across the country all march through the Big Apple as part of the beloved Macy’s Parade. Now, Ram trucks are joining this annual tradition.
Ram recently announced that more than 25 Ram trucks will kick off the holiday season as they tow the floats in the 89th annual Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade. As the Official Truck of the event, Ram is providing an estimated 70 trucks and commercial vans to use both behind the scenes and to tow the larger-than-life floats.
“Ram takes great pride in aligning our brand with iconic American events like the Macy’s Thanksgiving Day Parade,” said Bob Hegbloom, Head of Ram Brand for FCA-North America. “Being the official truck of the Parade provides an excellent opportunity to showcase the style, innovation, and towing capability of our 2016 Ram 1500 and 2500 trucks.”
The parade will broadcast live on NBC, beginning at 9am in all time zones.
