Ram Trucks Presents 33rd Annual WYCD Downtown Hoedown
Say what you will about “country folk,” but they sure do know how to have a real good time. Anyone who’s been to a hoedown (rephrased: been to a hoedown with at least two shots in their system) would agree.
That’s why, if you live in the Detroit area, you should check out the 33rd Annual WYCD Downtown Hoedown, presented by Ram Trucks. The hoedown kicks off tomorrow, June 5th, at 4pm and lasts through sundown. The party continues on Saturday, June 6th, from noon and again until sundown. Join the action at West Riverfront Park.
More than 20 artists will be playing, to include Rascal Flats and Darius Rucker. But Ram will also be making a special appearance through the weekend with the Off-Road Experience test-drive track, where concert-goers can take any of Ram’s impressive models for a test drive at no extra cost.
And, to top it off, test drivers will receive a Ram t-shirt afterwards. When they wear said t-shirt, they get exclusive access to the Ram Special Viewing Area, which has one of the best views of the hoedown in the entire park.
“Few things are more natural than Ram trucks and country music, and bringing them together in our hometown is a recipe for a great time,” remarked Jeff Hines, Director of the Great Lakes Business Center for Fiat Chrysler. “We are proud to continue our sponsorship of Detroit’s Downtown Hoedown and provide concertgoers a chance to experience their favorite music with the power and capability of Ram trucks.”
