Ram’s Just the Facts Ads Give Us, Well, Just the Facts

When Ram Trucks was established as its own division of Chrysler Group back in 2009, its sole purpose was to create the all-around best pickups on American roadways. Arguably, the brand has achieved that goal, but truck buyers are loyal by nature and thus hard to win over. Even with a seemingly superior product lineup, Ram Trucks loses customers to Ford, Chevy, and GMC time and again. To their credit, the F-150, Silverado, and Sierra lines are also incredible, but there’s something about the Ram trucks that the others just cannot attain.

Maybe Ram’s Just the Facts ad series will help define it. The series doesn’t rely on the typical truck commercial imagery of pickups battling the elements, hauling boats, or being driven by cowboys with a horse in tow. Instead, Ram’s Just the Fact ads just give us the beautiful trucks, with—you guessed it—just the facts.

In total, Ram will release four 30-second spots. Two were released this past weekend during the NCAA/NFL games, one touting the Ram 1500 EcoDiesel’s fuel economy and the other touting the payload of the Ram 3500 Cummins Turbo Diesel.

Check out both of the released commercials below.
