Ram’s Twitter Teaser Video Still Has Us, Well, Teased

At the end of last month, Ram Trucks posted a mysterious video to Twitter, one that could have been right out of The Blair Witch Project if the camera wasn’t so steady and the acting wasn’t so great. The teaser vid is just 15 seconds long but manages to flash the word “hiking” at us twice while a man and a woman trek up a hill and stumble upon a sign that says, “Caution: Unpaved Trail Ahead.” The sign is accentuated by a skull and crossbones, as most street signs are. Cue the intense music that breaks the silence, and the two adventurers head off down the unpaved path.

Ram’s Twitter teaser video was posted with the following text: “Life’s more fun off the beaten path. An exciting new way to get there is coming soon! #RamRules” and nothing else. We’ve been scratching our heads trying to figure out just what it is, however. There’s been some dissent among us here at The News Wheel. Could it mean a Ram pickup outfitted with a Hellcat engine? Some argue that it’s an off-road package for the 1500. And some of us just have no freakin’ clue.

Take a crack at the mystery yourself:

The video promises we’ll find out this month, perhaps next week at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit. Keep your fingers crossed.
