LEAF, Versa Set Monthly Record for Nissan in July

Nissan Group sales in July totaled 121,452 units across the Nissan and Infiniti brands, good for an 11.4 percent increase year-over-year. The Nissan brand was up 11.5 percent with 112,914 sales, which is a new July sales record.

With a 62 percent year-over-year increase and 3,019 units sold, the LEAF also set a new July record and pushed its year-to-date total to 15,755 vehicles.

2015 Nissan Versa Sedan

Combined sales of the Versa and Versa Note totaled 15,630 units, which marked a 73.5 percent year-over-year increase and another July sales record.

The Sentra accounted for 17,579 units and a 53.7 percent increase, solidifying itself as the brand’s third most popular offering with 111,477 units to date.

2015 Nissan Altima

Both the Altima and Rogue were down in July, but they remain Nissan’s overall volume leaders with 203,107 units and 115,920 units sold, respectively.

2014 Nissan 370Z

Other key performances for Nissan came from the Maxima (5,790 units, up 43.5 percent), 370Z (636 units, up 29.8 percent), and Murano (4,640 units, up 22.5 percent). Additionally, Nissan Commercial Vehicle sales were up 79.3 percent on the strength of double digit increases from the NV Passenger, NV Cargo, and NV200.

To date, Nissan sales are up 12.5 percent with 758,050 units sold in the United States.
