Redesigned 2017 Chevy Trax Priced at $21,895
Today Chevrolet announced that the redesigned 2017 Chevy Trax would carry a starting Manufacturer Suggested Retail Price of $21,895 when it goes on sale this fall. That price includes the $895 destination fee but excludes tax, title, license, and dealer fees.
That’s the price for the base LS trim when equipped with front-wheel drive. All-wheel-drive LS models carry a price tag of $23,395. The Chevy Trax LT is priced at $23,795 for FWD models and $25,295 for AWD models.
For the 2017 model year, the top-level LTZ trim has been replaced with the Premier trim, which carries an MSRP of $26,995 for FWD models and $28,495 for AWD models. (A full breakdown of trims and prices is visible below.)

“The 2017 Chevy Trax offers advanced technology, premium features and comprehensive safety in a small SUV package,” said Chevy marketing exec Steve Majoros. “The Trax is positioned to deliver exactly what our customers want: the latest technologies in the fastest-growing segment in the industry.”
Just 13 months after its US introduction, the Trax has been redesigned for the 2017 model year, and now sports a refreshed front fascia featuring Chevrolet’s new proportioned dual port grille. The Trax’s rear has also been restyled to include newly sculpted taillamps.
Also new for 2017 is the LED signature lighting and sleek halogen headlamps on LT and Premier models. Premier Trax models will also feature newly-designed 18-inch aluminum wheels.
Inside, the 2017 Trax has an upgraded interior centered around a new instrument panel which includes a new gauge display featuring analog speedometer and tachometer readouts, and digital displays from a standard driver information center.
New tech includes keyless open and start capability and a new Chevrolet MyLink seven-inch-diagonal color touch radio with built-in Apple CarPlay and Android Auto compatibility.
