Revell F-150 Raptor Model Kit Deconstructed

The 2015 North American International Auto Show opened to the public this weekend, and if you’re planning on attending and bringing your kids over to the Ford display—and, let’s be totally honest, of course you are—then there’s some good news. Those who attended last year’s NAIAS might remember the build-a-model-Mustang station that kept your kids interested long enough for you to take 100 pictures of the actual Mustang and upload them to your Instagram, and Ford and Revell® are following up by providing F-150 Raptor model kits this year so that your kids can build away while you gawk shamelessly at the actual F-150 Raptor and hashtag everything.

“We are pleased to follow up on the success of last year’s Revell Mustang SnapTite Build & Play model kit giveaway,” said Dave Tillapaugh, Ford auto show manager. “Kids can proudly display these limited-edition 2017 F-150 Raptor models as a long-lasting reminder of their 2015 Ford auto show experience.”

These limited edition F-150 Raptor model kits are comprised of 20 pieces built to accurately reflect every piece of the powerful pickup. Last year, Revell provided similar special edition 2015 Mustang SnapTite Build & Play® model kids for the littlest attendees of the Detroit and Chicago Auto Shows. The retail version of the 2015 Mustang SnapTite model kit, which you can pick up for about $12 on Amazon, was one of the model-maker’s best-sellers for 2014. Also, it once flew around in outer space.
