Review of 2014 Town & Country

The 2014 Town & Country is more than just the next year model of the iconic Chrysler minivan—it marks the thirty year anniversary of selling minivans since Chrysler introduced the Town & Country and simultaneously created the minivan segment in 1983.

To celebrate, Chrysler has created the 30th Anniversary Edition of the Town & Country to commemorate the minivan’s continued success. But as cool as that is, each new model faces the intense pressure of trying to live up to its legendary name.

So how does this newest version of the Town & Country fare when held up to scrutiny? Pretty darn well. Taglines for the Town & Country read “Designed with Innovation” and “Focused on Family” and those aren’t just words—Chrysler puts their money where their mouth is.

With 144 cubic feet of cargo space, the minivan is roomy and comfortable. Also, it comes with EPA estimated 25 mpg highway, great for a minivan, and protects you on those highways with its super savvy Safetytec Package.

The 2014 Town & Country is as sleek as a minivan can get, especially if you splurge for the elegant 30th Anniversary Edition, but even the base model looks elegant and stylish. Combining practicality and economy with comfort and safety, the 2014 Town & Country does hold up to the scrutiny. It does its name and its history proud.
