Carbuyer has given the Mitsubishi L200 rave reviews

There is some stiff competition in the pickup truck market, especially in Europe. Now, the competition is getting even fiercer with the addition of the Mitsubishi L200.

Known as the Triton in some markets, the Mitsubishi L200 is taking Europe by storm. As the first all-new generation since its introduction almost a decade ago, the newest L200 has best-in-class fuel efficiency, CO2 emissions, and maneuverability. It’s these characteristics that have helped the European pickup truck get noticed by Carbuyer, a popular YouTube channel that reviews European vehicles.

The Mitsubishi L200 is powered by a turbocharged 2.4-liter diesel engine, which produces 152 horsepower and 280 lb-ft of torque or 178 horsepower and 317 lb-ft of torque, depending on the L200 model you choose. This top-notch pickup truck even offers the Super Select 4WD-II system, which offers four different driving modes. The driving modes include a basic 2WD option to a full 4WD with low range.

While Mitsubishi is focusing on producing more SUVs for the American market, hopefully it will consider bringing the Mitsubishi L200 stateside sometime soon.
