RIP Amber Rose’s Pink Jeep Wrangler Unlimited

Decrease Font Size Increase Font Size Text Size Print This Page

It’s been an incredible journey for Amber’s Rose’s Jeep Wrangler Unlimited SUV. It began life like any other Jeep, but quickly received a bubble gum pink makeover once Rose got her hands on it. However, the celebrity model eventually needed something different and ordered a pink chrome wrap for her SUV to make it stand out even further. Now, it seems as if Rose has grown tired of her Jeep’s flashy exterior because she’s had it wrapped once again, but this time she went with a less conspicuous Army Green hue.

Thank you @roadstarrmotorsports and @huzizle_1 for tricking out my jeep once again! New year New Color ???

Rose shared a picture of the updated Wrangler on her official Instagram page last month. Roadstarr Motorsports is the company responsible for applying the new green wrap, which doesn’t come as a surprise since they also were responsible for the bubble gum pink and pink chrome wraps.

To go along with the new green wrap, Rose’s Jeep also got matching green rims. In addition, the Muva logo has been removed from the front grille. Rose often refers to herself as Muva Rosebud or simply Muva on social media the same way rap star Drake refers to himself as Champagne Papi.

If the mechanical components of this Wrangler were kept stock, that means there’s a 3.6-liter Pentastar V6 engine underneath the hood that’s good for 285 horsepower and 260 lb-ft of torque. That capable engine gives the Wrangler Unlimited the ability to tow up to 3,500 pounds and accelerate from 0 to 60 mph in just over eight seconds.

It should be interesting to see how long Rose’s SUV stays green, especially since her style continually seems to be evolving. If the caption accompanying her Instagram post is any hint, we could assume its color might change again at the beginning of 2018, but that’s assuming Rose doesn’t trade it in for the redesigned Wrangler that’s rumored to debut later this year at the L.A. Auto Show.

Is It True? Did Dodge really push back the release of the new Challenger until 2020?
