Scion Releases Pricing Info for 2016 tC
With all the recent Scion-related hype focusing on the upcoming iM hatchback and iA sedan, you might have forgotten that the automaker actually has other, pretty awesome models on offer as well. One example of such a model is the Scion tC, and the latest version—the 2016 model year—is scheduled to begin sales in August. Leading up to its release, Scion has revealed pricing information for the 2016 tC, and it’s as affordable as ever, with plenty of customization options.
The 2016 Scion tC is a sports coupe which combines youthful style with an affordable price tag. In fact, you can get a tC for under $20K, since the 2016 version with the six-speed manual transmission has an MSRP of $19,385. Choosing the automatic transmission with paddle shifters and Dynamic Rev Management ups the price slightly to a still-affordable $20,535. While some vehicles’ price tags are increased slightly each year, the 2016 tC is actually cheaper than its predecessor, despite the fact that it comes with a newly standard 7-inch Pioneer touchscreen Display Audio system, silver interior door handles, a leather-wrapped shift knob, a standard rear windshield wiper, and a new center console tray cover. Both models come out $595 cheaper, so you can spend more money on accessories to personalize your ride.
The new tC has so many customization options it’s difficult to keep track. Fog lights, a lower body graphic, a high-profile rear lip spoiler, an interior light kit, an auto-dimming rearview mirror, and a BeSpoke audio system are among the many options you can choose for your new coupe.
Look for the 2016 tC next month. Also, note that the quoted MSRP does not include Scion’s delivery, processing, and handling fee of $795.
