Scion xB Release Series 10.0 to be Unveiled in NYC
On Wednesday, April 16, the Scion xB Release Series 10.0 will be unveiled at the New York International Auto Show in New York City. Only 1,500 examples of the Release Series 10.0 will hit dealer lots this summer.
“The xB Release Series 10.0 gets a fun, technology influence with wireless charging, a backup camera and an exclusive, modern appearance to inspire drivers,” said Scion Vice President, Doug Murtha. “A culture of customization and passion already surrounds the xB, and Scion is delivering this unique series to further encourage fans to make these distinctive vehicles their own.”
The limited edition Scion xB Release Series 10.0 models will stand out with their Electric Quartz paintjob, a pearl white that features subtle green highlights, which continues into the interior on the custom colored seats. Three unique projections continue the futuristic tech look: a Scion logo drops from the rear bumper to the ground; “xB RS 10.0” is projected on the driver’s side interior carpet; and the number (1 – 1,000) of the xB is projected onto the passenger side floor.
Standard on the 10.0 is a backup camera and conductive wireless charging, as well as the Scion Display Audio System with a 6.1-inch LCD touchscreen, AM/FM/CD/HD Radio™ technology, music streaming via Bluetooth® wireless tech, AUX/USB port with iPod® connectivity, and hands-free phone capability. The special edition model also features custom floor mats, Tungsten Gray wheel caps, illuminated door sills with the Scion name, illuminated center console cup holders, and piano black interior accents on the vent rings, center console, and steering wheel.
The New York Auto Show opens to the press on Wednesday, April 16, and to the public on Friday, April 18.
