National Corvette Museum Welcomes 3 Millionth Visitor

The National Corvette Museum welcomes its three millionth visitor

When you hear the phrase “Corvette Summer,” you probably (and rightfully) think of everybody’s favorite Mark Hamill film, Corvette Summer:

Man, how come J.J. Abrams isn’t directing a reboot of that 70s classic?

Anyway, the phrase “Corvette Summer” could also refer to a kid’s summer camp that the National Corvette Museum in Bowling Green, Kentucky is hosting this year. NCM, in collaboration with the Edlebrock Family Foundation, will be offering five day-long camps in July that mix cars with STEM education.

There are a variety of fun themes being explored: Minecraft on July 9th and 30th, Sinkhole Science on July 20th, Superhero Science on July 27th, and Wild Weather on July 31st. Each camp day runs from 8:00 am to 4:00 pm, and both early drop-off and late pick up are available.

Best of all, the campers get to take a ride in a Corvette, and see how the car is built with a tour of the Bowling Green Assembly Plant. Your kids will also get the enlightening opportunity to talk with a Corvette Plant engineer.

Make this reason #56,372 we wish we were still kids.

It’s just $45 per camp day, so if you think your little gearhead would be interested, you can register them or learn more at www.corvettemuseum.org.
