Shanghai OnStar Offering Premium Financial Service Plan for Cadillac Customers
Shanghai OnStar, SAIC Motor Insurance Sales Company, and SAIC-GMAC Automotive Finance Company have announced an all-new financial service plan geared specifically toward Cadillac customers in China. This service plan entails affordable stolen vehicle insurance, more onboard telematics services, and an improved Cadillac ownership experience.
According to GM, the premium automotive financial service plan saves Cadillac owners about half of what they would spend for three years’ worth of stolen vehicle coverage. For less than the standard cost of three years of insurance for a Cadillac ATS-L, customers will get commensurate coverage and access to a two-year OnStar service package.
OnStar’s service package includes Turn-by-Turn Navigation, Automatic Crash Response, Emergency Service, Security Service, Vehicle Diagnostics, access to the OnStar mobile app, and 200 minutes of free hands-free calling. Other available features include Stolen Vehicle Location and Remote Control, as well as access to a number of SAIC-GMAC services.
Since rolling out the service plan in October, Shanghai OnStar has accumulated more than 100 buyers who have taken part.
