Slight Increase in July Sales Help Mercedes-Benz Obtain Another Record Month
Mercedes-Benz AMG vehicles saw significant sales increases
Mercedes-Benz celebrated another record month in July with 27,536 units sold.
The amount is higher than the 27, 192 vehicles sold during July of 2014. There was an increase of 1.2% in sales between July of this year and July of last year.
While still a new July record, the increase in sales for Mercedes-Benz this year seems to be decreasing. May sales were up 11.1% from last year, while June sales were defined by a 5.8% increase from the previous June.
Record Gains for Mercedes: Sought After Mercedes-Benz Vehicles Post Record Gains
Nevertheless, the July sales increase is still an optimistic sign for Mercedes-Benz sales in the second half of 2015. As of July, 212,258 units have been sold by Mercedes-Benz USA in 2015.
The C-Class was a popular choice again
Similarly to May and June, the C-Class fleet led the increases with 6,384 units. Mercedes-AMG vehicles also saw some sales increases. 931 AMG high-performance units were purchased in July, a 7.3% monthly increase.
July will mark the seventh month in a row that Mercedes has experienced record monthly sales.
