Much about the 2020 GMC Sierra HD still remains a mystery. However, recent spy shots have captured GM testing out this bad boy, as it fine-tunes the mechanics and cosmetics.

Past spy shots of the 2020 Sierra HD had fake placeholder lighting systems. Up until now, GM has left consumers in the dark about the actual styling of the lights. However, the latest pictures of the 2020 Sierra HD indicate LED headlights signatures.

The camouflaged truck appears to have a C-shaped arc outlining the outer edge of the front headlight. This detail takes its cue from the 2019 Sierra 1500.

We must wait a bit longer for GM to reveal more about the 2020 Sierra HD. For now, we can only speculate the variety of modifications this refreshed offering will boast.

On the other hand, we’re well acquainted with the features of the 2019 model year Sierra. GM has added a 2.7-liter turbo engine Elevation trim, which elaborates on the model’s agility, towing capability, and off-road skill. This trim comes with a Traction Select System to enhance the truck’s grip on different terrain.

You can also add on the optional X31 Off Road Package that comes with a locking rear differential, a two-speed transfer case, protective underbody skidplates, Rancho shocks, and Hill Descent Control. Choose the ProGrade Trailering system option for enhanced towing brawn.

One more feature the 2019 Sierra will provide is a new Tripower engine, which comes standard one the Elevation and SLE versions. This engine incorporates dual-vane turbocharging, automatic stop/start and an electric water pump. It also churns out a healthy dose of 310 horsepower and 348 lb-ft of torque.
