Okay, so you went out and bought yourself a 2014 Stingray at last. Granted, you waited long enough that the price went up a little bit more, but you’re not too bitter about it because you know that it’s worth every last penny. Want to make sure that you get the most out of your magnificent monster? Take it to Stingray School!

Stingray School is in session!

That’s right, Stingray School. The Ron Fellows Performance Driving School offers a two-day program that will allow new Corvette drivers to head on out to the Spring Mountain Motor Resort and Country Club in Pahrump, Nevada, and learn the skills necessary to truly show off what their Stingray can do.

“We designed the Corvette Stingray to make its owners better drivers through technologies such as the Driver Mode Selector, Active Rev Match, electronic limited-slip differential and more,” said Tim Mahoney, chief marketing officer, global Chevrolet, in a press release. “Through the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School, they’ll learn to make the most of its technologies and delve deeper into the Corvette’s capabilities, resulting in a more exciting and fulfilling driving experience.”

To help incentivize the possibility of a trip out to Nevada (like you need any more incentive to take a well-earned vacation), new 2014 Chevy Corvette Stingray owners will be able to attend the two-day Stingray School for $1,000. The normal rate for the program is $2,500, and the discount will be available to all Stingray owners for a full year after the original purchase date.

Stingray School includes world-class instruction and extensive driving time on a 2.2-mile road course. The Ron Fellows Performance Driving School provides the services of their Stingray fleet, meaning that owners do not have to bring their own to the course.

Let us know, Stingray owners: any plans to take Chevrolet and the Ron Fellows Performance Driving School up on their offer?
