Stunning Delahaye 135S Tourer Driven by Jude Law in “The Gentleman’s Wager II” Film
Only the classiest people deserve to drive the classiest cars, so the man behind the wheel of a Delahaye 135S must be one spiffy fellow.
Considering the driver of this certain blue sporting tourer is the one and only Jude Law, he certainly fits the bill.
The Oscar-nominated actor takes control of the vehicle in Johnnie Walker’s new film, “The Gentleman’s Wager II.” In order to gain a vintage race car from his wealthy friend (played by Giancarlo Giannini), Jude Law agrees to drive the broken-down vehicle from Southern Italy to Monte Carlo in less than a day.
Does he achieve his goal? Does he win the race car? Watch the full video below to find out! Keep an eye out for cameos from Formula 1 star Mika Häkkinen and McLaren Honda F1 driver Jenson Button…

The first episode of “The Gentleman’s Wager” premiered in July 2014 and has garnered over 11 million views on YouTube since its debut. Also starring Law and Giannini, the debut 11-minute film carried a similar premise, except instead of wagering over a vintage car, it was over a priceless Italian boat. And instead of a race, the stunt was a choreographed dance.
The second “The Gentleman’s Wager” is certainly an improvement on the first. Law only succeeds due to his generosity and the reciprocated generosity of others, something that endears his character to the audience rather than flaunts his wealth and class like the first video did.
“I’m thrilled to be in the driving seat for the second Gentleman’s Wager film,” said Law at the film’s premiere in Rome. “Being back on set with Giancarlo and also having the opportunity to work with the talented Zhao, was an absolute joy. That coupled with being behind the wheel of the Delahaye 135S racing car, driving through the rolling hills of Italy and out to Monaco, well…I consider myself a lucky man!”
The short films are directed by English filmmaker Jake Scott, son of the legendary Ridley Scott, who’s known for his many music video projects and wildly inventive feature film, Plunkett & Macleane. Both videos were created by Johnnie Walker whiskey to advertise its Blue Label blend.
