Subaru Has Best Sales Month Ever, Cannot Be Stopped
At this point in the game, Subaru is only about two things: making cars and smashing records pertaining to the sales thereof. Subaru July sales figures prove just that, as the automaker went on to not just establish its best July sales ever, but it’s best monthly sales mark ever. Subaru’s 45,714 units not only trumped last year’s sales by nearly 10,000 vehicles, but it beat March’s 44,479 vehicle benchmark for the most successful month in company history.

“July delivered a spectacular record result,” said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. “Our retailers did an amazing job selling more cars than they had on the ground at the start of the month.”
Subaru sales were up almost across the board, with the Forester leading the way for volume with 14,524 units sold, good for a 47.6 increase and a monthly sales record. To date, the Forester has racked up 88,924 sales and improved upon its to-date figure from 2013 by 46.8 percent.
All but two of the vehicles in Subaru’s lineup increased sales by double digits: the WRX/STI was up 36.3 percent with 2,005 units sold; the Legacy was up 48.9 percent with 4,679 units sold; the Outback was up 12.6 percent with 11,768 units sold; and the VK Crosstrek was up 42.43 with 6,603 units sold.
