“We have strong, positive energy around our brand” said Thomas J. Doll, president and COO, Subaru of America, Inc. “As the new Legacy sedan and Outback enter retailer showrooms this month, we expect that momentum to continue.”

Year-to-date, Subaru has sold 238,008 vehicles in America, which is good for a 16.3 percent increase over the first six months of 2013. At the rate that Subaru is going, it’s primed for a sixth consecutive year where it sets an annual sales record in America.

June marks the 31st-straight month of year-over-year sales growth, and there is no indication that Subaru will be taking a step back any time in the future.

Subaru June sales coasted on the success of the Forester, of which 13,317 examples were sold to U.S. car buyers. The Forester was up 30 percent for June, and it sits 46.6 percent ahead of its 2013 pace at the halfway point in 2014.
