Subaru November Sales Set New Records for Brand
Subaru of America had a record November last month, with Subaru November sales figures totaling 45,273 units sold. That’s a 24% increase over last month’s November sales, and good for the second best Subaru retail sales month of all time.
Perhaps most impressively, Subaru has already broken its record for most sales in a year, with one more month still left over. The previous record – 424, 683 vehicles, set last year – was passed on November 7th, and reached 463,770 vehicles by the end of the month, with December still to come.
“Since achieving our 2013 record earlier this month, every sale is a new record,” said Thomas J. Doll, president and chief operating officer, Subaru of America, Inc. “2014 will be a historic year for the Subaru franchise as we will break 500,000 sales before year end.”

The kid-tested, tree hugger-approved Subaru Outback had its best month ever, with 14,128 total sales (a whopping 59.6% increase over November 2013). The Forester (13,879 units sold) and WRX/STI (2,707) also had their best November of all time.
“Traffic to our retailers remains very strong and it is encouraging to see Legacy sedan sales continue to grow,” said Jeff Walters, the automaker’s senior vice president of sales. “We also look forward to continuing our popular annual ‘Share the Love’ event with its tradition of giving back to the community in December.”
