That is, of course, for the 2016 Subaru BRZ Premium with the six-speed manual transmission. Opting for the Limited trim bumps the price to $27,395, and changing the Limited’s transmission to a six-speed automatic gearbox knocks it up another $1,100 to $29,495. All models also carry a destination and delivery charge of $795.
For the 2016 model year, the BRZ benefits from a number of exciting technologies. First and foremost is the SUBARU STARLINK 6.2-inch multimedia system that includes the 6.2-inch gesture display. The BRZ also boasts an AM/FM stereo with HD Radio®, SiriusXM Satellite Radio, Radio Data Broadcast System, iPod® control, iTunes® tagging, a single-disc CD player, a USB port, an auxiliary input jack, and Bluetooth® hands-free phone connectivity and audio streaming—just, in case, you know, you might like music or something.
The BRZ also features smartphone integration with apps like Aha™ and Pandora®, as well as cloud-based STARLINK applications like Stitcher, iHeartRadio®, Music Player, News, Weather, and Calendar. Standard this year is a rear vision camera, which was not standard equipment on the outgoing 2015 model.
