2018 Subaru Legacy at Chicago Auto Show

The 2017 Chicago Auto Show is sure to be a groundbreaking experience in terms of vehicle releases and updates. Every year, automakers announce the best and brightest models available, with some surprises mixed in. Subaru is taking advantage of the large stage in Chicago and is planning to debut the all-new 2018 Legacy on Thursday, February 9th.

What’s new on the 2018 Legacy

The 2018 Legacy, Subaru’s mid-size sedan, is receiving some significant changes, inside and out. Notable upgrades include safety, multimedia, comfort, engineering, and design. While the Legacy will still have two engine options available (2.5-liter or 3.6-liter), the ECU has been finely tuned to provide a smoother and more responsive acceleration. Also worth noting is that Subaru’s well-known all-wheel drive comes standard on the Legacy, which makes it the only mid-size sedan to offer this.

Steering Responsive Headlights (SRH) are a new on the 2018 Legacy and pair well with the available LED headlights. These lights move in the direction of the driver’s steering and aid significantly with nighttime visibility. On the Limited trim, Subaru EyeSight is available and automatically turns the high beams on and off, depending on certain traffic conditions.
