One of the updates that has everyone buzzing is the introduction of the BRZ STI Sport concept. The concept, based on the JDM BRZ GT, adds aero parts, a dark red interior, and black multi spoke 18-inch wheels to the already attractive BRZ.

The JDM BRZ GT is similar to the U.S. BRZ with the added Performance Package. As with this available package, the GT trim includes Sachs dampers that claim to provide better control and a more composed ride. The larger front and rear brakes with Brempo calipers allow for improved stopping power and a greater fade resistance as well.

Here in the U.S., Subaru has been working to advance the BRZ by adding the Magellan Navigation app to the StarLink multimedia system. The cloud-based navigation app provides up-to-date audio and visual information and is available with a 3-year subscription. Other upgrades on Subaru vehicles in the U.S. include the performance, comfort, and safety enhancements on the 2018 WRX and WRX STI, which were unveiled at NAIAS.
