Subaru VIZIV-7 Concept SUV

The Los Angeles Auto Show is always a place for fantastic automotive spectacles and ideas from various car brands. This year, Subaru unveiled its VIZIV-7 concept vehicle to the delight of many. The Japanese automaker introduced the SUV whose name is derived from “Vision for Innovation.” The big, bold styling of the vehicle aligns with Subaru’s commitment to adventuring and exploring the world around us.

“The concept expresses our core brand values, safety, dependability, capability for outdoor activities and a forward looking attitude,” said Takeshi Tachimori, corporate executive vice president, Fuji Heavy Industries, LTD. “We know customers in this segment want a full-sized vehicle and the next 3-row from Subaru will be the biggest Subaru vehicle ever.”

What makes the new SUV concept stand out the most are the exciting exterior features like the crystal-like headlight design with light blue accents, massive sporty grille, and athletic window profile. The new crossover is definitely a step above the Tribeca model, which was axed back in 2014.

The VIZIV-7 features three full-size rows of space, which is what Subaru is leaning towards when it comes to expanding its vehicle options in the upcoming years. The new SUV measures to 204.7 inches long and has a wheelbase of 117.7 inches, which makes the VIZIV-7 around 15 inches longer than the popular Outback model. The concept is also larger than most other three-row, mid-size SUVs, including the Chevrolet Traverse, Buick Enclave, Dodge Durango, and Ford Flex.

We look forward to seeing what Subaru will do with this concept moving forward.
