All about Jack Frost Big Boulder

In 1947, what was formerly known as Hazzard ski slope became Big Boulder Ski Area. The resort gained immense success when employee John Guresh helped pioneer the commercial use of the snowmaking machine. Years later, Jack Frost opened up as an adjoining ski area in 1972. Together, the resorts offer 36 different slopes, including beginner, intermediate, advanced, and Terrain options. There are 17 lifts total, with the summit elevation of Jack Frost at 2,000 feet and Big Boulder at 2,175 feet.
