Jeff Gordon One Last Time Hendrick motorsports video

Retiring NASCAR racecar driver Jeff Gordon has been making the most of his final year, giving back to his longtime fans, and getting a lot of love back in return.

Hendrick Motorsports, Gordon’s long-time auto racing team, already paid tribute to the driver with a “#24EVER” commercial of their own. Now Chevy, Gordon’s exclusive manufacturer for the last 23 years in the NASCAR Spring Cup Series, has released a short video thanking their popular four-time champion.

Take a look:

Narrated by the voice of Chevrolet, John Cusack, the ad lists some of Gordon’s most impressive career stats, including his 790 consecutive starts, his 93 wins, and his four NASCAR Sprint Cup Series championships.

The video concludes with the message, “Thank you, Jeff. Here’s to new roads,” referencing the bowtie brand’s “Find New Roads” catchphrase.

After a ninth-place finish in Texas this past weekend, Gordon has just two races left until retirement. He will race his iconic No. 24 Chevy SS for the final time on Sunday, November 22nd, in the season closer at Homestead-Miami Speedway.

Gordon is locked into the Championship Round of the Chase, meaning he will have a chance to go out on top by winning his fifth Sprint Cup Series Championship. It will be exciting to see if the beloved NASCAR star can write a storybook ending for himself.
