TFLCar Gathers 2015 Corvette Z06 Spy Shots
Chevrolet already unveiled the 2015 Corvette Z06 back in January at the North American International Auto Show in Detroit, but that doesn’t mean it was absolutely ready for production. The Bowtie Brand still had plenty of work to do on the Big Nasty, and it seems that they were recently caught in the act by TFLCar, the TMZ of the automotive world, which collected a number of 2015 Corvette Z06 spy shots.
Reportedly, TFLCar received a tip that some kind of funny business was going on in the Rockies, where a couple of disguised Z06s were spotted. One of the Z06s was a convertible and the other was—you guessed it—a coupe.
It’s likely that Chevy was testing the supercharged LT4 engine, which is good for 650 horsepower, at higher altitudes. Chevrolet may have also been doing some chassis and tire testing while up there as well.
