If you, like so many others, lament that the Aveo name—perfectly cromulent as it is—was cast aside for the Sonic nameplate, then you’ll be psyched (totally psyched) to learn that the Aveo is still very much alive and kicking in Mexico. In fact, the new Chevy Aveo was revealed earlier this month ahead of its January 2nd launch, and, boy, is it ever a Chevy Aveo.

The new Chevy Aveo will be available beginning in January starting at $199,900 MXN (approximately $10,500 USD) for the Aveo LS with manual transmission and topping out at $252,900 MXN (approximately $13,280 USD) for the Aveo LTZ with automatic transmission.
