Vauxhall Vivaro added to The Children's Trust fleet

The Vauxhall Vivaro was recently chosen by The Children’s Trust as the newest addition to its fleet. The Children’s Trust is a UK charity that provides rehabilitation services for children and young adults who are suffering from brain injuries.

The Children’s Trust operates a school for children with learning disabilities at its Tadworth, Surrey specialist center, and the addition of a Vivaro Combi minibus to the fleet will help in the task of providing transportation for children to and from the center. The purchase was made possible by funding from The Presidents Club Charitable Trust, London and has been up-converted by Gowrings specifically for the transport of the school’s children.

“We’re overjoyed to have this fantastic new minibus and we are extremely grateful to The Presidents Club Charitable Trust for their generous donation,” said Richard Fauvet, Transport Manager for The Children’s Trust. “When families arrive at The Children’s Trust, they have often spent months in hospital since the accident or illness that caused their child’s brain injury. Visits home, hospital appointments and outings are crucial to every child’s rehabilitation, so having new accessible vehicles to make this stress free is a big deal that makes a real difference to the children and families that come here.”

The Vivaro was introduced to the fleet on March 31st as part of a special ceremony. Vauxhall builds the Vivaro at its Luton production plant, which celebrated the building of the milestone 1-millionth Vivaro in December of last year. Earlier this year, the Vivaro was named the overall winner in the Business Van Awards 2016.
