The Luke Bryan Suburban Concept Will Make You Want to Go Catch Fish
The SEMA Auto Show marks a special time of year, where we get together and celebrate the spirit of making a vehicle our own.
So, what better way to show that spirit than by a special Suburban Concept?
Building a Better Future: Chevy has partnered with American Cancer Society for the seventh straight year
Meet the Luke Bryan Suburban Concept, designed as a partnership between Chevrolet and the country music star—hardly a surprising combination, given that Bryan is Chevrolet’s official ambassador whose love for the brand is well-documented (by us!).
Apparently, Chevy’s designers made the Suburban by getting a wish list from Bryan on all of the things that would make the ultimate outdoor activity vehicle, resulting in a pretty impressive list of enhancements.
On the outside, there are some purely cosmetic changes, including a custom-finish mesh grille, black bowtie emblems, a Hunter Bronze paint color with Dark Carbon accents and camo graphics, and “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” exterior badges.
However, there are far more functional features, including black tubular assist steps, a Thule® Canyon roof basket with extensions, roof rack cross rails a new lower fascia, a roof-mounted light rack from Baja Designs, a roof-mounted fishing rod holder, and swing-out tailgate with spare tire.
Hitting the Trail? Why not take a truck Chevy chose specifically for off-road racing?
Of course, that exterior is supplemented by a handful of chassis and performance upgrades, like 22-inch concept wheels with 35-inch-tall tires, a suspension lift, an extended skidplate, Anodized Orange tow hooks, a cold-air intake system, and front Brembo® brakes.
The upgrades continue inside, with Bluetooth headphones and Bullfrog® music system by KICKER®, special Black and Two-Tone Olive interior color, custom-trimmed seats and interior upholstery, concept rear-facing third-row seats, reverse-mounted rear-seat DVD player, and, of course, a custom “Huntin’, Fishin’ and Lovin’ Every Day” rear floormat.
The most fun part of all of those features, though, is that many of these features are available from Chevrolet Accessories, making them available to drivers who aren’t country music stars.
