This 707-Horsepower Hauk Hellcat Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Will Blow Your Mind
There’s just something about a Jeep Wrangler that makes me drool a little bit whenever I see one. It’s a personal preference of mine—I am, without a doubt, fully in the Wrangler cult. And if you add a 707-horsepower engine to this ruggedly handsome Jeep, then you should probably also hand me a bucket, because the drool is just going to be that much worse.

This is exactly what Hauk Designs has done—minus the bucket. The Pennsylvania-based tuner has taken Dodge’s power-hungry Hellcat engine and placed the 6.2-liter V8 inside a Jeep Wrangler to form the Hauk Hellcat Jeep Wrangler Unlimited. And they didn’t even warn me first.
The Hauk Hellcat Wrangler churns out a healthy 707 horsepower and 650 lb-ft of torque to all four wheels. But don’t worry; the engine wasn’t the only thing the tuner changed. To accommodate all this power, Hauk upgraded the Wrangler’s drivershafts, and added Teraflex brakes, Bilstein performance shocks, 4:10 gears with locking differentials, and a new 4:1 low-range transfer case.

But wait—it gets even better. The Wrangler has an entirely new transmission thanks to a heavy-duty Mercedes-Benz 5G-Tronic automatic.
If this setup doesn’t call for some pretty stellar four-wheel burnouts, I don’t know what will.
