Tokyo Drift Nissan for Sale in the UK
Here’s a riddle: what’s black and gray, can perform a drift up a parking garage ramp, and is inexplicably on sale in the UK?
If you guessed the 2002 Nissan 350Z driven by Drift King in The Fast and the Furious: Tokyo Drift, then boy are you good.
According to the current owners, Cheshire Classic Cars, the high-powered 350z is the actual car used in the movie to perform high-speed stunts (including spanking Lucas Black’s character driving a Nissan Silvia S15 in a race around a crowded parking garage).
It apparently comes complete with full documentation and has even been registered for road use.
Of course, according to Edmunds, there were actually 11 copies built of that car, with only two sporting the twin turbochargers:
In any case, the car is fitted with a Veilside Version 3 Wide Bodykit, an APS twin turbocharged engine, a Nismo twin plate clutch, and a Nismo two-way differential. That’s a recipe for a car engineered for drifting, with a boosted power of 475 hp and 420 lb-ft of torque. The sales listing says that the current owners can return it “to a more standard specification if preferred.”
The 350Z is on sale for £149,995, or $233,869.20 here in the states.
