Toyota Donation Enhances Green Space in Princeton, Indiana
Toyota Indiana is deeply committed to its surrounding community. The plant, which produces the Sequoia, Sienna, Highlander, and Highlander Hybrid, recently donated $27,000 to help revamp some of Princeton, Indiana’s green spaces, including a pocket park in Downtown Princeton, enhancements to the Bicentennial Park, and upgrades at Lafayette Park. This donation coincides with the city’s bicentennial, which is being celebrated this year. The Toyota donation was matched by the City of Princeton, bringing the grand total to $54,000.
In addition to the generous donation, 100 Toyota Indiana employees also donated their time on National Public Lands Day last weekend in order to help beautify and restore the city’s parks.

Princeton mayor, Bob Hurst, commented, “We are thrilled Toyota Indiana is able to help add elements to the Friendship City Tribute section of Bicentennial Park. Now our park will have an additional limestone walk path with more landscaping features such as boulders and additional flowers.”
This is just the latest in a long line of donations Toyota Indiana has made to its community. In recent months, the plant has donated to Big Brothers Big Sisters of the Ohio Valley (BBBSOV), as well as going for the goal of 125,000 trees planted by the end of the year in its 160-acre afforestation project.
