Toyota FT-1 Vision GT Coming “Soon” to Gran Turismo 6
Remember the massively cool Toyota FT-1 concept? We certainly do (which is probably obvious given the amount of coverage it’s had here at The News Wheel since its debut at the Detroit Auto Show back in January). Well, now, the concept sports car is set to reach an Arctic-level of coolness by appearing in Gran Turismo 6 alongside other uber-fast rides from Nissan, Mercedes, and Volkswagen. The Toyota FT-1 Vision GT is previewed in a nice 30-second teaser video released by the automaker. And if you liked the FT-1 Concept, you’ll be literally drooling over the FT-1 Vision GT. It’s fierce, black as night, and faster than a bat out of hell (and now we have that song in our heads). And lovers of all things Gran Turismo and/or speed will have the time of their lives racing around in the FT-1 Vision GT, which almost makes the concept look tame.
Uh oh, it looks angry.
Toyota says that the Calty-designed FT-1 Vision GT will be available for download “soon,” but doesn’t give us any further hints as to when we might get to play with this bad boy. We’ll update you with a release date as soon as it’s revealed, and you can bet we’ll be marking our calendars and counting down the days.
