Toyota Fun Chain Commercial Shows that Toyota Cars are Fun
Here in the US, we get our fair share of weird Toyota commercials. Overseas, it’s no different—you might recall the peeing Toyota Aygo commercial, for example. Now, Toyota Motor Corporation has released the new Toyota Fun Chain commercial featuring a variety of its vehicles spinning, doing wheelies, and generally having a good time, all to make customers realize how fun it can be to drive a Toyota.
We start with a Toyota 86 (known here at the Scion FR-S or the Subaru BRZ) drifting, doing donuts, and generally having an awesome time. From there, a yellow Prius c pops a pretty sweet wheelie, after which we see a variety of vehicles, including a Prius, a regular Land Cruiser, and the Dakar Rally Land Cruiser, which accelerates through a giant sheet of paper for the grand finale.
The commercial doesn’t appear to be designed to sell a particular vehicle like the commercials we so often see on TV here in the US, but rather to alert the public to the fun that can be had when driving a Toyota vehicle—any Toyota vehicle.
What do you think of the Toyota Fun Chain commercial? It certainly makes me want to drive a Toyota 86 around a variety of obstacles in a deserted parking garage!
