For many people, the daily commute is a huge hassle. From having to leave your house an hour before you’re due at work to dealing with traffic and congestion, your drive to and from your job can be something you grow to dread. Having the right car for your commute is essential if you want to retain your sanity. Luckily Forbes has come up with a list of the 10 Best Cars for Commuters 2015.

All in all, three vehicles built by Toyota made the list. The Toyota Prius was named one of the best vehicles for a short commute, with a fuel economy rating of 51 mpg city, 48 mpg highway, and 50 mpg combined. The Highlander Hybrid was recognized as an excellent winter commuter, getting 27 mpg in the city and 28 mpg on the highway for a combined fuel rating of 28 mpg. Finally, the Lexus RX450h was touted as one of the best vehicles for a long commute, boasting 32 mpg in the city, 28 mpg on the highway, and 30 mpg combined.

The only other automaker to feature more than once on the list was Subaru. The Forester 2.5i Premium was named a great vehicle for a short commute, with 24 mpg city, 32 mpg highway, and 27 mpg combined. And the Subaru Impreza Premium was named a top vehicle for a winter commute, with 28 mpg city, 37 mpg highway, and 31 mpg combined.

It’s not surprising that two of the three Toyota vehicles named were hybrid models. After all, when you’re slogging through traffic to work every day, the last thing you want to worry about is running out of gas. Even with increased demand for larger trucks and SUVs, it’s pretty safe to say that the hybrid vehicle is here to stay.
