Toyota Papercraft Series Expands to Include Three Additional Models
Earlier in the month, we reported that Toyota was offering papercraft versions of its GT86 and Prius models. Well, as soon as we finished making ours and decorating our office, Toyota decided to come out with three more. So, without further ado, we give you… the Toyota Corolla, Land Cruiser, and RAV4 papercraft versions.
Before we tear ourselves away from our desks to build these babies for ourselves, allow us to tell you more. Each car in the Toyota Papercraft Series comes with a difficulty rating, and an estimate of how much time it’ll take you to build. The easiest models—the Corolla and Prius—rank at one spanner out of three as far as difficulty goes, and you should be able to put each together in 15-30 minutes, depending on how many times you stop to drop F-bombs or yell at inanimate objects. The Land Cruiser ranks in the middle, with two spanners and 30-45 minutes of construction time, and the GT86 and RAV4 come in as the most difficult, with three spanners and at least one hour of construction time.
Save Money and the Planet: Three Benefits of Hybrid Technology
While taking an hour of your day to build a paper car might not sound like your idea of a good time, the Toyota Papercraft Series is sure to appeal to enthusiasts like ourselves, as well as families looking to do some old-fashioned bonding. In fact, Toyota suggests that the Papercraft Series might be the cure to holiday boredom. Well, we still have a while until the holidays, and we need these papercraft cars in our lives right now, so if you’ll excuse us, we have some important work to attend to.
