The 2016 Toyota Tacoma (pictured) is even more affordable with the Utility Package

The new Toyota Tacoma is one of the most affordable trucks money can buy. But if you’re looking for the most basic work truck available, chances are you don’t need the bells and whistles that come on even the base trim level of the Tacoma. Luckily for you, there is a secret option that’ll help you lower the price and provide you with the perfect truck.

Opting for the base model with the Utility Package drops the price a whopping $1,715. Obviously, a price decrease means less stuff, but if you’re looking for a new truck with the bare minimum this probably won’t be a big deal to you. The package removes the back seat and sliding rear window, and adds black bumpers, door handles, and side-view mirror caps.

So you won’t be able to pile your friends in and head to the lake for the weekend, but you will get yourself a fairly nifty work truck for a pretty darn affordable price. And for some drivers, that’s definitely worth losing a few features for a price drop.
