Although 2015 isn’t quite over yet, we’re already seeing plenty of lists making the rounds summarizing the year in various ways. One of the ones that most interests us is the list of the year’s best-selling vehicles—and, although December sales haven’t been tallied and added to the list, the numbers through November give us a clear picture of the winners. And those winners are overwhelmingly Toyota vehicles.

The Toyota Camry was the best-selling mid-size sedan for 2015, with 392,056 sales through the end of November. This isn’t exactly a shock—the Camry has been America’s favorite passenger car for years now. The current-generation has been in production since 2011, although the sedan received a makeover for the 2014 model year. While it’s not the most exciting car available, its reliability and safety ratings make it a top pick year after year.

Toyota is the leader when it comes to sedans. Like its bigger sibling, the Toyota Corolla was the best-selling compact sedan in 2015, with sales through November 30th totaling 330,887. The Corolla was redesigned in 2013 for the 2014 model year, making this its 11th generation. The Corolla dates all the way back to 1966, which makes it one of Toyota’s longest-running nameplates.

The Toyota Prius is the hybrid that started it all. Back at the turn of the century, the Prius was the first mass-produced hybrid, and its popularity has soared over the years. From January to November 2015, Toyota sold 103,676 Prius models, making it the country’s most popular hybrid. Its 50 mpg combined rating make it a hit with those concerned with their carbon footprints, as well as those looking to save money on gas. The Prius is expected to become even more popular in 2016, with the release of the fourth-generation model.

Toyota Sienna

Toyota touts the Sienna as a “swagger wagon” rather than a minivan, even enlisting the help of Busta Rhymes in its commercials. While some might think this marketing strategy is fairly lame, Toyota is laughing all the way to the bank as the Sienna was the best-selling minivan of 2015. To date, Toyota has sold 125,090 of these bad boys. And, if Busta Rhymes isn’t cool enough for you, you can relish the fact that Mark Wahlberg also drives a Sienna.
