Every other year, British charity Comic Relief hosts a horde of fundraising events in support of Red Nose Day—a star-studded telethon shown on the BBC to raise money for poor and disadvantaged people, as well as to help change the root causes of these people’s woes. Last month, we reported about a ticklish Toyota Yaris that would be touring the UK to raise awareness and funds for Comic Relief, and now the Japanese automaker is stepping up to help once again, by auctioning off an iconic Toyota Castrol Supra.

This vehicle is part of Toyota UK’s heritage press fleet. It’s a one-of-a-kind vehicle built in 1996 for one of the earlier versions of Gran Turismo. This Supra is powered by a 3.0-liter straight-six, complete with twin turbos, capable of producing 370 horsepower. Other features include an HKS front-mounted intercooler and a Blitz Spec-R cat-back exhaust. Interested bidders can test-drive the Supra before making a bid for the low, low price of £150 (which is donated to comic relief). The winning bidder will have that £150 deducted from the agreed selling price though, so it’s all good.

Also up for auction is a 1997 Toyota Picnic Turbo. While it doesn’t look particularly special, this car hides a 210-bhp 2.0-liter four-cylinder motor under its hood, and has been featured in numerous publications, both in print and online.

If you’d like to learn more, you can check out the auction listings. The Castrol Supra listing can be found here, while the Picnic listing is here.
