2015 Toyota Aurion

Ever heard of the Toyota Aurion? If you haven’t, then that’s likely because you are not a resident of the land down under. For those who may be otherwise unfamiliar—or non-Australian—the Aurion is basically a Camry with different styling. (For clarity: the Camry is still offered in Australia, and the Aurion exists as a sort of Earth Two version of the previous-generation model.) That being said, hey, there’s a new one!

The new 2015 Aurion was revealed today with a number of new upgrades across the AT-X, Sportivo, and Presara models. All models are now standard with keyless entry and ignition, Toyota Link, and a 4.2-inch touchscreen display. Returning as standard equipment for 2015 are rear view camera, stability control, traction control, and dual-zone climate control.

There are slight styling upgrades to help distinguish the base model from the line-topper, the V6-equipped models all benefit from retuned shocks and power-steering mapping, and all models havea pre-loaded differential that provides better handling, but the Aurion is otherwise unchanged—right down to the price.

The AT-X is steady at $36,490, the Sportivo stays at $40,990, and the Presara’s price goes up only slightly to $50,440—reflecting the standardization of metallic or pearlescent pant.
