Toyota’s CES 2016 display

If you’re a tech fan in Vegas right now, chances are you already have plans to head to the 2016 International Consumer Electronics Show (CES), which is going on until Saturday, January 9th. If you don’t, you’re missing out on super cool new technology that will be coming to a car near you in the not-too-distant future.

For example, Toyota is displaying various technologies, including the TOYOTA Smart Center. This is a cloud-based computing system that uses its fleet of connected cars to collect and analyze secure vehicle data that will help provide drivers with personalized services to make their commutes easier and less stressful.

In addition, Toyota’s exhibit features Agent+, a service that helps find the quickest and most efficient route to a destination by using day, time, location, and driving history; the Mobility Teammate Concept, which is an amalgamation of Toyota’s findings through research and development of automated driving technologies; the Toyota FCV Plus concept vehicle; and the Toyota Kikai.

Visitors to the exhibit will also see a deep learning and artificial intelligence display, which features scale model connected Prii that learn from and share with each other in real time. This helps show visitors how connected vehicle technology could work in the future to make the road a safer place than ever before.

Toyota’s CES display is located in the North Hall of the Las Vegas Convention Center.
