Two Volkswagen SUVs make car seat installation less stressful with easy-access and quality Latch anchors and deliver families with enough space for at least two kid-specific seats that the editors at Cars.com have taken notice. Because the editors are so impressed with the family-friendly safety features regarding cars seats in both the 2018 Volkswagen Atlas and 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan, they have named both SUVs to the “Car Seat Check Honor Roll.”

“The new-for-2018 Atlas changes everything: It’s roomy, loaded with family-friendly features and excels when it comes to car seats,” said Jennifer Newman, Editor-in-Chief, Cars.com. “There are three sets of Latch anchors across the second row, and three car seats installed easily and fit well.”

The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan has recently received even more praise from the editors at Cars.com who deemed the Tiguan “Best Compact SUV for 2017.”

“The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan impressed the judges with its roominess and value,” said Newman. “The cargo capability is top of the class, making this small SUV a huge advantage for shoppers concerned about getting the most room for the money. The Tiguan is also a great option for families, earning the highest possible marks in Cars.com’s Car Seat Check.”

According to Volkswagen media, “Only 10 vehicles, out of 65 2017 and 2018 models tested, earned the top grade of A in all the categories. Volkswagen was the only brand to have two vehicles named to the Honor Roll.”

The 2018 Volkswagen Atlas, deemed the family SUV by VW, comes equipped with a 3.6-liter V6 engine, which generates 276 horsepower. The 2018 Volkswagen Tiguan, earmarked the stylish SUV by VW, comes equipped with a 2.0-liter TSI® 16-valve DOHC in-line four cylinder turbocharged engine with intercooler and direct fuel injection, which generates 184 horsepower.
