There are some people in this world that are truly wonderful and caring—then there are people like one Uber driver who can be complete meany heads.

Earlier this month, a woman going into labor and her husband called for an Uber driver to take them to the hospital. Upon arriving and seeing that the woman was in labor, the Uber driver refused to take them to the hospital, and charged them $13 for taking up his time.

According to Fortune magazine, the driver didn’t want to take the pregnant woman because he thought she might vomit and he didn’t want to deal with the mess. He also claimed that no other Uber driver will take a woman in labor, too.

Oh, how wrong he was.

After the rude Uber driver left, the couple called yet another Uber, who happily brought them to the hospital with no accident. Not only did they make it in time, but the woman gave birth to a healthy baby boy.

Since the incident, Uber has issued a full refund for the couple. It is unknown as to whether or not the transportation service has taken action against the driver.
